Our Artitudes Employee Spotlights continue with Gary! Gary is a graphic designer and started with us in 2015!Gary_illustration

What song makes you feel the most creative?

More like what band… and that band is (at the moment) Chevelle.  Inspiring.

Are you originally from Western Washington?

I don’t put my name to once city—I’ve lived everywhere.  But I spent the most of my formative years in a little town called Tehachapi, CA.

What’s your favorite line from a movie, book, or song?

“So long and thanks for all the shoes.”  It’s from a NOFX song, it’s stuck with me through the years.

Do you have a hidden talent?

I don’t hide any of my talents, like a true artist, I flaunt them.  But I guess my newest one is I discovered I can write novels, how ‘bout that.

What was the most unusual/interesting job you’ve had?

Definitely the military—my job was to shoot rockets down range.

What are some hobbies/interests?

I like to yell at strangers on the bus while doing yoga stretches.  It’s so rewarding.

What is a surprising fact about you?

That I yell at strangers on the bus while doing yoga stretches.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Being able to drink booze at my desk 😛  And helping people get what they need.  Exceeding expectations and making a client happy is where it’s at.
