Labor Day Weekend Events

It’s almost Labor Day weekend! With the upcoming 3 day weekend, there is plenty going on in Western Washington! Here is your guide to a few things that are happening this weekend:


This annual Seattle Labor Day music festival held at the Seattle Center! The name of the festival, which had it’s beginnings at the 1962 World’s Fair, is a combination of the words “parachute” and “umbrella”. For a list of bands and singers performing, and for more information, click the underlined heading above.

The Sounders are taking on the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, August 30th at 1pm. Go cheer on Seattle’s MLS team which includes Clint Dempsey, captain of the 2014 World Cup US Soccer Team.

Go enjoy the last weekend of the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, Washington this weekend! Saturday is Derby Day and Sunday is Demo Derby Day! Along with that, there will be food vendors and lots of activities! Check out the website above for all of the exciting details!
